February 25, 2024 - An Axiom

A church or movement of God will never grow past the pride or ego of the pastor and/or its leaders. When a church/movement is about He (Jesus) must increase and I (pastor/leader) must decrease¹ and to that end to take on the garment of a bond servant² or an under shepherd who gives his life for the sheep³, then we serve for His pleasure⁴. That means His will (not ours) must be done⁵. How can we take on the task? That is when the Holy Spirit gets involved⁶. And when the Holy Spirit is truly involved, then it matters not who planted and who watered but it is God who brings the increase⁷…An increase not just in numbers but also in anointing, grace, favor, and power.
